Leah Houser    

Leah was born and raised in Washington state and loves living in the Seattle area.  She grew up with cats and has always had a love for animals.  After working in the restaurant industry for 7 years, Leah started working in veterinary medicine. She has been working at Animal Healing Center since 2003 as a receptionist, veterinary assistant and surgical assistant. She likes working with people as much as animals, and supporting the human-animal bond.

Leah is married and has two children, a boy and a girl; and also two cats, a shorthair tortie and a longhair tabby.  She is active in vaccine safety and risk awareness advocacy, sitting on the board of directors for the non-profit organization Initiatives for Family Health.
